Why It Is UsefulIt tests the opportunity cost of an upgrade. A premium is useful only when it adds enough expected output over a cheaper player who could realistically occupy the same squad position.
How The Top 5 Is DerivedAdditional next-gameweek xP ÷ additional cost. The cheaper option must have an official xP forecast and at least 360 league minutes (max of 60 and gameweek × 45). This comparison guardrail is independent of the visible map minimum-minutes filter. Top 5 suggestions also require ownership of at least 2.5%. Fewer than five are shown when fewer qualify.
